Which sailing to take from Termoli

Termoli - San Domino

This is the shortest crossing to the archipelago and the route with the most departures in the peak months. It serves the island holding most of the accommodation: if your room is on San Domino, this is the sailing you want. Confirm the landing shown on the individual departure all the same.

Termoli - San Nicola

This serves the island with the historic settlement and is the second route from the same port. The two lines have their own carriers and calendars, they are not one sailing seen under two names. Compare them in the timetable for your date instead of inferring frequency from one of them.

Berth, ticket office and boarding

The passenger port lies below the old town, on the Molo di Nord Est. Each carrier has its own ticket office and boarding point, and in high season departures follow each other closely: go by the carrier name on your ticket, not by the nearest queue. If you booked online, check whether the ticket has to be collected or validated before boarding.

Arrival, parking and the return

Termoli is the only port in the archipelago with a railway station close by, which makes it the natural choice without a car. Drivers leave the vehicle here: non-resident cars are restricted on the islands for most of the 2026 season, and the vehicles and parking guide explains how to arrange the stay. For the return, start from the last useful sailing and build the rest backwards; the comparison with the other ports is in the arrival guide.

Getting to the port of Termoli

The passenger port lies below the old town. Carriers use separate ticket offices and boarding points: follow the one named on your ticket.

By train

  1. Termoli-Campomarino station

The station is on the Bologna-Bari Adriatic line and lies a short distance from the port. It is the simplest access for travellers without a car.

  2. From the train to boarding

Allow for the walk or taxi and for the carrier's check-in deadline; do not plan a tight connection with the last sailing.

By car

  1. To the port

Follow the signs for the port, then the carrier named on your ticket. The port area is busy in high season: arrive early.

  2. Where to leave the vehicle

Non-resident vehicles are restricted on the islands for most of the 2026 season. Arrange parking in Termoli before you set off.

Questions about the port of Termoli

FAQ

Does Termoli serve San Domino or San Nicola?+

Both, but not on the same sailing: these are two separate routes, and on some departures the landing depends on the day. Check the island shown in the timetable and on your booking.

How early should I be at the port?+

Follow the check-in deadline your carrier prints on the ticket. In high season allow for traffic towards the port area and for the queue at the ticket office.

Can I reach Termoli by train?+

Yes. The station is on the Adriatic main line and lies close to the port, the main reason Termoli works better than the Gargano ports for travellers without a car.

Where do I park in Termoli?+

Arrange parking before you travel: the area near the port fills up in high season. The vehicles and parking guide explains how to approach the decision.

What happens if a sailing is cancelled?+

The operating carrier decides, based on weather and port conditions. Rebooking, refunds and alternatives are handled by the seller named on your confirmation; the contact page points you to the right desk.
